At Harry Batten, we're constantly updating our selection of cakes that are available to buy through the website, the ordering process is simple - choose your cake, select a flavour from the drop down menu (where applicable) then add the cake to the shopping cart. At the checkout you can enter delivery address (free across Mid Sussex) or collect from the bakery in Haywards Heath, you can also enter the date you’d like the cake delivered and your preferred time. All cakes are made to order so you will need to place your order at least 48 hours in advance. Finally, enter your bank details and complete the purchase in the same way that you would with any online order. The website is fully secure and we don’t have any access to your bank details.
The latest addition to our website is the classic carrot cake, our version has 3 layers of sponge, spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and orange, with grated carrot adding the moisture that the cake is known for. The filling is our signature Swiss meringue buttercream, blended with mascarpone, which is slathered in-between each layer of sponge and around the out side.
